Meet Us

Center for Youth Activism of Pakistan (CYAP) is a youth operated nonpartisan progressive public policy advocacy and activism organization. It is aimed to promote social and political activism among the youth while also advocating youth centric reforms nationally. We are dedicated at improving the lives of youth which make up just over half of the population in Pakistan but often goes unrepresented in the policy making arena. We believe in modernization of Pakistan through social integration, technological and scientific progress and promotion of egalitarian institutions which would promote social, political and economic equality among the masses.

We Advocate

First is through our advocacy efforts. We serve as a nonpartisan pressure and lobbying group which through our links with political and bureaucratic leadership of Pakistan campaigns for policy reforms crucial to the development and empowerment of youth. Including but not limited to promoting education opportunities, healthcare, lowering voting age, religious freedom and defending civil liberties. Our continued commitment to progressive values, is both unique and worthy cause which in short means valuing and protecting human life and well-being.

We Act

What differentiates us from others is that we just not advocate, but we act. We operate several programs aimed at improving the lives of Pakistan’s youth by providing them the support they need to become conscious citizens of the global community. We work through several subsidiary and partner non-profits in the fields of healthcare, education, communal tolerance and the environmental conservatism. These programs serve as a platform for the Pakistani youth to sharpen their social entrepreneur skills as everyone working with CYAP is under the age of 28.
